Stretch-marks?

I have stretch marks on my hips, butt and inner thighs. They're new but because summer is coming in i want to lesson their appearence so i can wear shorts. I have two questions:
1) If they are horizontal across my leg does that mean theyre there from me gaining weight or growing taller (I am very tall)? What if they are vertical?
2) How do I lesson their appearance or get rid of them? Ive heard of bio oil and cocoa butter, but do they work?

hmm… I don’t know about the horizontal vs. vertical thing, I just assumed a stretch mark is a stretch mark….
I used Palmer’s Cocoa Butter with both of my pregnancies and came out with only two stretch marks…. I kept using the Cocoa Butter after wards and they are hardly visible now. There is also a new product by the makers of Head-On that helps with scars and stretch marks. I’ve been using it on my C-section scar and it has made it much smoother. I mean, I know I’m never going to get rid of that scar, but at least I can’t feel it like I used to.

Bio Oil has purclien oil which is really good, it works well. Also theres a Avon Ceull Scrupt. That works good too. You have to massage the oils into the skin for about 10 mins. I used Bio Oil for about 2 weeks and I could see a difference. I use the Avon now just for firming.

Those marks are pretty difficult to get rid of. Cocoa butter helps a bit, but not totally. Is better when they’re appearing. Maybe in a beauty clinic with some glycol substance, can work.

Use shea butter. L’Octtaine sells it, it is great.
